World cricket legends – Cricket in the wild

Six of the biggest Indian and South African cricketing greats combined together for an innovative 'World Cricket Legends in the Wild' match of a lifetime. The event took place in Phinda Game Reserve in KwaZulu Natal state of South Africa from 13th to 16th November 2011. Organized by "Beyond Boundaries", this was the second edition of the "World cricket Legends", with the first one being organised in Switzerland in 2009.

Indian legends team comprised of Kapil Dev, Ajay Jadeja, Anshuman Gaekwad, Dilip Vengsarkar, Sandeep Patil and Roger Binny while South African legends had Mike Procter, Graeme Pollock, Lance Klusener, Peter Kirsten, Andrew Hudson and Paul Adams in their team. The teams played 12 over a side match in the wild, which South Africa won by a narrow margin. There were several other activities as well before and after the match which included Welcome Bash, Sandeep Patil's cooking and the Awards ceremony.

"Sportzworkz" covered this whole event in South Africa and send several news stories to various news channels back in India. The event was given a very good coverage in Indian media. "Sportzworkz" also produced a special episode of one hour on this whole event.
