Toyota Karnataka Golf Festival
The 2nd edition of Toyota Karnataka Golf festival, which is the official qualifier for the World Golfers Championship, was held at Eagleton Golf Resort, Bangalore from September 10 – 12, 2010. Organised by Rishi Narain Golf Management, this is one of the most prestigious Golf tournaments for the amateurs. Sportzworkz produced a half an hour special program on this event which was telecast on Ten Sports.
The tournament was open to any team of three amateur golfers with a recognized golf handicap from any golf club in India. The second year of this golf festival marked a great response as 340 golfers played on the luscious greens of Eagleton Golf Resort. The Festival was graced by some of Karnataka's best amateur golfers teeing off with celebrities like Syed Kirmani, Ashwini Nachappa, Gundappa Vishwanath, Erapalli Prasanna, Venkatesh Prasad, Sunil Joshi and Sujith Somasunder.
There were nearly 75 prizes in various categories for individuals and teams. The winning team won a seven day holiday on the Golden Chariot Luxury Train. Sportzworkz covered every bit of this mega golfing event.
