The Indian Cue Masters League
The Indian Cue Masters League 2005, conceptualised by former World champion Geet Sethi and the Billiards & Snooker Players Association of India (BSPAI), is all set to revive interest in the green baize game. The novel format has one game each of 9-ball pool (single rack), snooker (single frame) and billiards (50 points).
The winner of the toss gets to choose his event, while the opponent has the option for the second event of the three. The player, who wins any two, advances into the next round.
While Ahmedabad will host the first leg, Hyderabad has opted for the second with Mumbai and Delhi gearing up for the next two.
